What Do You See?

Zoe
This week we've ventured into the world of optical illusion. Our inspiration is the famous 'Rubin Vase' illusion, published in 1915 by psychologist Edgar Rubin.

Rubin's Vase is a Figure-Ground illusion, which can be perceived as either two black faces on a white background or a white vase on a black background.  Some of the children saw the faces first, while others saw the vase!

We've have created our versions of 'Rubin's Vase' using our own silhouettes.
What do you see first ... the vase, or the silhouettes?
