Hi! My name is Elizabeth Mucha. As a qualified and experienced Art teacher I present Gr8ArtFun,
an after school enrichment programme for children who love art!
Gr8ArtFun provides wonderful opportunities for children to enrich their lives by discovering and nurturing their creative self through the Visual Arts.
I offer after school art enrichment classes for primary school age children, at various Primary School campuses on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.
Each term we explore a variety of media and techniques including clay, painting, drawing, 3D, mixed media and collage ….
We learn to value individuality and the special uniqueness we each bring to our art….
We grow in confidence and a sense of achievement as we complete each project….
We are inspired by the work of other artists, art movements, nature and our social environment ...
We have FUN being creative!
Nurturing personal creativity at any age has significant potential to enhance the enjoyment of life through a deeper sense of self, added self confidence, social awareness and awareness of the environment.
There is also evidence of links between engagement in the arts and the development of positive learning attributes such as critical thinking, expression, focus and concentration, organisation skills, persistence, risk taking, planning and problem solving.

Lessons are carefully planned and prepared with a different focus each week, including hand built ceramics, painting, drawing, printmaking, collage and mixed media using a variety of materials and techniques in a safe, positive and professional environment.
Because classes are after school and are located on school grounds children are able to come directly to the class from their classroom. Lessons start 15 minutes after the final bell, which gives the students time to have a refreshment break before we begin (a little extra food in the lunch box is a good idea!) and are 1.5 hours in length.
All art materials are provided and so students need bring nothing more than their smile and an eagerness to enjoy being creative!
Fees are invoiced by the term (sorry, no casual attendance) and are calculated according to the length of each term, at $15 per lesson. A sibling discount is also available.
